Regional Youth Tour

The idea for a tour came naturally with the hope of introducing and building the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Youth Network. This network will be as strong as the people who will form it (First Nations Youth, Youth Centres, Band Councils, community radios, high schools , Youth Committees, Youth organizations etc.).

The objectives of the Regional Youth Tour are numerous

• Promote the First Nations Youth Network
• Promote the activities, services and programs offered to the youth
• Make youth aware of the usefullness of creating a youth committee (see section on creating your own youth committee)
• Establish local contacts with the people who work with and for the youth

As of this date, the Youth Network counts over 1000 registered youth and more than 200 organizations of all sorts. The tour of the communities started in February 2008 and will run until June 2009.
